Schedule Bluesky posts and threads that stay chained

Queue a post or a whole thread, with alt text on every image and links detected for you. Bluesky connects with an app password rather than an OAuth button — it takes a minute, and then it is done.

On Bluesky, specifically

The bits Bluesky makes hard, handled

Threads that hold together

Groniz posts the opener and chains each continuation to it with a proper reply, so the thread reads in order on anyone’s timeline instead of arriving as loose posts. Links and mentions are detected and made real too, rather than left as dead plain text the way a naive post leaves them.

Alt text that actually gets sent

The alt text you write on an image is published with the post. Most channels quietly drop it; on Bluesky it arrives, so your images are readable to people using a screen reader.

Images sized without you thinking about it

Bluesky is strict about image weight. Groniz resizes each one to fit before upload, so a photo straight off a camera does not bounce.

Agent-driven

Bluesky is just a target for your agent

Install the Groniz skill and your agent — Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT, any MCP client — learns to drive Bluesky for you. You keep the judgement; it keeps the keys out of your scripts.

You Schedule this thread - Bluesky has no scheduling of its own.

groniz posts:create \
-c "A short thread on the launch" \
-c "The why, and what is next" \
  -s "2026-07-18T09:00:00Z" -i "bluesky-id"

Bluesky publishes immediately with no native scheduler, so this queue is the scheduling it doesn't have; alt text on any image is sent.

Bluesky questions

Scheduling Bluesky, answered

How do I connect Bluesky?+
With your service URL (bsky.social unless you are self-hosting), your handle, and a password — Bluesky lets you generate an app password in its settings, which is what you should use here rather than your main one. There is no OAuth button; this is how Bluesky’s API works.
I have two-factor authentication on. Will it work?+
No. The Bluesky login Groniz uses does not support two-factor, so an account with 2FA enabled cannot connect until it is turned off. We would rather tell you here than have you find out at the connect screen.
Can I schedule a Bluesky thread?+
Yes. Write the opener and its continuations as one item; Groniz publishes them chained, in order, with links and mentions detected automatically.
Does Groniz show Bluesky analytics?+
No. Bluesky is a channel where we surface no metrics — we publish and schedule, but the numbers are not something we show, and we would rather say so than draw an empty chart.
