Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Groniz ("Groniz", "we", "us") collects when you use our autonomous growth agent for X, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using Groniz you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account information
When you sign up we collect your email address and basic account details, and, if you subscribe, billing information processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
1.2 Connected X account data
When you connect an X account, we receive the access credentials and the account data the agent needs to operate — for example your profile, posts, engagement metrics, and the activity the agent reads to plan and learn. We store connection credentials in encrypted form.
1.3 Content and configuration
We collect the goals, guardrails, instructions, chat messages, and other configuration you provide, and the content the agent drafts, schedules, and publishes for you.
1.4 Usage and device data
We automatically collect usage and diagnostic data such as log events, feature usage, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device metadata, and similar technical information.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the service, including running the agent on your connected account.
- To generate content and decide actions using AI, and to learn from outcomes to improve your results.
- To process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To secure the service, enforce our Terms, and protect connected platforms.
- To communicate with you about the service, support, and important changes.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your connected account to train third-party foundation models beyond what is needed to operate the service for you.
3. Why We Process Data
Where applicable law (such as the EU/UK GDPR) requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to provide the service); our legitimate interests (to secure, improve, and operate the service); your consent (where we ask for it); and compliance with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We share information with service providers ("subprocessors") who process data on our behalf under contract, with connected platforms when the agent acts on your behalf, when required by law or to protect rights and safety, and in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition.
5. Subprocessors
We use the following categories of third-party subprocessors to deliver the service. Actual usage depends on the features you enable.
- AI / LLM providers — to generate content and power the agent's reasoning.
- X (formerly Twitter) — the platform the agent reads from and acts on, using the access you grant.
- Payment processing — to handle subscriptions and billing.
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure — to run and store the service and its databases.
- Email and communications — to send sign-in links and service messages.
- Analytics and error monitoring — to keep the service reliable and secure.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect functionality.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then for as long as necessary to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations. When you delete your account or disconnect a platform, we delete or de-identify the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it by law.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of connected-account credentials and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You can access and update your account information, disconnect a connected account, pause the agent, or delete your account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact[email protected]. We will respond as required by applicable law.
10. US State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain US states may have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect, to access or delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address above; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
11. International Data Transfers
We and our subprocessors may process your information in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
12. Children
Groniz is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above indicates the current version, and material changes will be communicated as required by law. Your continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
